Meet the Team
Mohan
In the realm of deadpan art and mixed media techniques, he is encountering a novel form of nonverbal communication. He is exploring new and fresh angle on experimenting with the new media yet. "Time and Human Memories," "Non Existential Crisis," and "Visual Poetica." were topics covered in his previous works.
For Mohan, the most interesting part is coming up with ideas for the entire project.
Manish Sherawat
Manish enrolled in Triveni Kala Sangam's Basic and Advanced Photography Diploma program, and under the guidance of classical photographer O.P. Sharma, he began to incorporate poetry into visual essays. After successfully completing his undergraduate studies at MCRP University, a postgraduate program in mass communication at Punjab Technical University, and a Master of Philosophy in Mass Communication from Kurukshetra University, the individual developed a keen interest in photography-based research through experiential learning.
The perspectives "More than a Medium" by Jeff Wall and "Medium is the Message" by Marshall McLuhan inspired him. At present, his research focuses on the intersection of photography aesthetics and gender perspectives, specifically examining the process and structural justification of Erwin Panofsky. His doctoral research concentrates on the sociological existence of visual sensory perception in an effort to reestablish photography as a polysemous medium.
Jagat Parkash Verma
Jagat Parkash Verma, who has 35 years of experience, changed what contextual study means through his large-scale projects. His work includes pictures of wildlife, bird watching, herbal medicine, making things by hand, and art that combines different styles. He finds the hidden beauty in nature and explores herbal medicine, which links him to traditional ways of healing. His handmade goods show off his cultural background by combining old methods with modern styles. Mr. Verma combines these things through multidisciplinary art to make rich, story-filled pieces that honor nature and custom and encourage people to value and protect it. He brings the past and the present, making people feel deeply connected to nature and their cultural roots.
Dr. Sarina
Dr. Sarina completed her graduation, post-graduation, junior research fellowship, and Ph.D. in the field of visual sociological factors in mass communication and journalism. She has a vast and intensive course of experience, such as Study of Political Cartoons in India" and "Navigating Gender Bias: Female Journalists Struggles and Mastery in the News Media." Her specializations deconstruct Indian journalistic approaches and criticism of semiotic-based commentary. She is most interested in qualitative research on visual sensory. She has 12 years of experience as a researcher and 5 years of experience as an academician.
Dr. Sarina wrote more than 10 research papers on Media Criticism and 3 Books chapters. Her interest areas are in Visual Communication, Visual Analysis and Semiotics.
